Blighted BriarTIF seeps into Riverside
| The Kansas City Business Journal reports that Briarcliff Development Co. wants the city of Riverside to grant them TIF for 75,000 square feet of office space. Just when you thought they couldn't go to the TIF well one more time, they changed wells! The request would divert all new property taxes generated by the offices to the developer for 23 years. This is exactly the kind of... You know what? Screw it. Let 'em have it. |

You know what anonymous 8:13PM? I just about have given up. It feels like you can only shout for so long and if nobody is listening you should just save your voice.
Just so you know...the company my Mom works for pays $42,500 a month to lease space there. A MONTH!! That's not counting the extra utilities they pay for the room to keep the computers cool.
Ahhh...to live and work in a blighted area...
