WFMR
| If you knew Death's Door you know what the acronym in this Blog title stands for. We have billions in infrastructure problems, a failing(ed?) school district, a race-baiting, vindictive manipulator on the Parks Board (and I'm not talking about Frances Semler either), that same idiot has been made chairperson of the infrastructure sales tax initiative and what is our City Council spending the afternoon doing? Asking Ticketmaster why some people couldn't get Hannah Montana tickets. I'm going to go lie down now... |

post a commentLOL. I thought the same thing when i saw the "breaking news" piece on KC.com. However, there are a lot of people who's kids apparently cannot live another day without going to that concert (I'm going to guess most are in JOCO).
I will say though, having a new arena that no one can get tickets to shows in isn't probably getting it off to the best start in the world. But still...
Too many parents in our city are unable to provide their children proper living conditions or health care, but our City Council has decided to concentrate on the TRULY unfortunate children of our community – those who were deprived of Hannah Montana concert tickets due to the evil laws of supply and demand!
As actions speak louder than words, I’m disappointed to see this demonstration of the Council’s priorities.
Another example of Nanny Government...vote with your dollars and don't buy tickets from scalpers or ticketmaster! Instead, donate it to something like the Hope Center -that's actually helping kids in need of something other than a spankin...
